Chaos theory and institutional management quality in a peruvian higher education institute

El presente trabajo de investigación tenía como objetivo fundamental determinar la relación entre la prevalencia de la teoría del caos y la percepción de la calidad de gestión institucional en los docentes y directivos del Instituto de Educación Superior Pedagógico Público de Pomabamba – Ancash, Perú. La metodología utilizada fue un diseño de tipo no experimental, específicamente el descriptivo correlacional. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que, aunque se halló una relación inversa débil (r = -,276) entre la teoría del caos y la calidad de gestión institucional, esta no es significativa (p valor > 0.05). Mientras que, mediante la correlación de Somers reveló que solo la dimensión de "evaluación de la gestión" mostró una relación significativa, mientras que otros aspectos como el liderazgo gerencial, la planificación estratégica y el clima institucional no. Sin embargo, este estadístico nos permite precisar relación significativa (p valor < 0.05). Esto sugiere que, si bien la percepción del caos puede tener un impacto negativo en las percepciones de la gestión educativa, la relación no es lo suficientemente fuerte como para ser concluyente, y se muestra la posible influencia de otros factores en las percepciones de la calidad de la gestión educativa. En conclusión, se muestra que existe una relación compleja entre la percepción de teoría del caos y calidad de gestión institucional, y que, al evaluar esa calidad, indica que es necesario considerar otras variables mediadoras.
